My Career Goals Becoming A Great Pastry Chef - 1090 Words

My career goals are to become a great pastry chef to be able to learn many skills and many recipes to improve my cooking skills. I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for my mother pushing me forward. I believe that The Art Institute of Philadelphia would help me accomplish many of my goals and push me to over achieve my goal as well. I would push myself pass the limit to be the best I can in this career choice. I would be the first one there and the last one to leave. No matter how long it takes I would achieve any task my professor assigns me to do. I am not a quitter and I will not give up, this is my dream and I would achieve it until the end with a big smile in my face. I chose this career path because I have a passion for cooking, for as long as I can remember. My grandmother, my mother and I use to be in the kitchen all the time cooking something up. My mother taught me how to cook rice, beans, anything involving pasta and meat. My grandmother always taught me how t o put my own twist into it and showed me some of her secret recipes to pass on from generation to generation. I always loved the idea of creating something beautiful with my two hands and people reacting well to it. The best part of it all, enjoying that time with my mother and grandmother in the kitchen like a family. This is the reason why I like this career path.
